One thing that I would very much like to express my feelings on here, before we continue, is that; we are beyond that era. The teaching schools for the occult will dissolve as the information they disseminate becomes more readily available and widespread, and affects public consciousness in a critical mass. Already this is happening. A growing spiritual interest across the world has been foreseen for milennia, as a natural part of the Human evolution during the Age of Aquarius. The long awaited Opening of the Cosmic Gate, the Galactic Alignment, is upon us.
It is for these reasons that the following should be taken light-hearted and seen within its proper intended context; as a bit of fun, and intentionally tongue-in-cheek. This is not to decry genuine spiritual feelings people have for the old paradigm of religious need, nor indeed the validity of the content of the following pages. Nor is to dishonor existing schools of occult interest.
I would also like to express absolutely and with utmost sincerity that this has nothing whatsoever to do with the Thule Society nor Neo-Nazism and nor should it ever do so. Any member of Ordo Octopia discovered to be allied with such groups will be instantly banished to the abyss for all of eternity.

Gradually the groups interest in gaining more of an understanding of the occult with a view to magickal practices increased, so that it became necessary to develop appropriate instruction methods relevant to our concerns.
The primary concept of the evolution of individuals, communities, objects and places; away from confining and Mundane reality, through the Gates of the Mystical, toward and into the Magickal Universe; gave a cohesive background understanding of the Reality Principle.
The following almanac is a rare collection both of the Hermetic and Cthulhonic methods of Ordo Octopia. Each entry has been referred to as as a 'mystical gate' through which and on the other side of is the Magickal Universe; although to access that realm it is believed that all of these gates need be opened. It is intended as a system of orientation and liberation and as a companion, not an alternative, to other traditions. The Sexual methods of Ordo Octopia are not a part of this manuscript; the Red Book has not been permitted for public release due to an hostile socio-political environment. SLOWING THE CHAOS
Chaos can be stressful when it gets too much, too fast, too demanding, too quickly.
Take a long, deep, slow, breath with all of your being.
Suck in everything, and exhale it again, pushing out all of the stress.
In the space between the exhale and your next breath, the particles of the environment around you and eveybody in it, are beat-matched to your electromagnetic pulse. The electromagnetic pulse is a powerful tool if used correctly. You have to push this out, with your will, with your energy, with the exhaled breath.
What you have just done with your power-breath, is to have set the rhythm of the external world, to harmonize with your own bio-rhythm. Of course your body and aura's electromagnetic system is plugged into your Awareness, which is multisensory, and your Mind, which is both a radio transmit/receive and a window, once you have learned to use it as such.
Until that time, your mind is the Babbler, a stream of consciousness deluded into a self-identity ego, which has its own demands. Meditative rituals exist to dissolve the go, acquire n0-mind, and. It is expected that an initiate of Ordo Octopia, has at least some training in these fields. An adept will have mastered them.
What the Breath Rite Slowing the Chaos does, is it slows down external reality, by balancing your biorhythm that your tentacles immediately auto-adjust and put everything into an order you can cope with. There is no panic, no stress; because now you are in command, of yourself and of your interaction with the environment.
When canabalistic indigenous rainforest tribes explained to explorers that their world-view was of the self, the tribe, and then everything-else-in-the-jungle, which latter category included other tribes, what they were trying to explain through mistranslations of concepts that are not easy to put into words in the first place, is that there is the Self, and then there is external reality, including other people and their Intent. Allowances are made for the Tribe as a part of the Self because they are the ones we are emotionally connected with, which is an internal bond; empathy. A deeper comprehension of what Mind is, how to use mind and how to detach from mind is evident in the practices and beliefs of these tribes.
Buddhists use the term 'sansara' to explain 'mind' which means both 'confusion' and 'conditioning'. Clarity of Mind is essential for doing magickal work. Sorcerers necessarily develop methods of acquiring & maintaining mental clarity. Controlled breathing is the simplest and most powerful of them all.
The understanding is that mind is involved with generating Reality experience by programming Manifestations. Conscious mind is used to program subconcicous, which in turn programs external experience, through the electromagnetic field aura of an individual. We call the aura; the lightbody. The word is from Egyptian meaning 'gold of the sun'; there is reference in classical Hermetic history of a 'golden cow'; the phonemic 'au' was applied to prehistoric 'auroc', a species of giant cows that were hunted to extinction, which meant both 'ore' & 'awe' of 'mighty'.

Anima is the Spirit-of-Self.

MOMENT GATE
Every Moment is Now.
We can consciously take it in one of 4 directions;
Up (forward), Down (backward), Sideways (context change), Stasis (no change)
Reality will eventually change of its own accord.
Reality is energetic an therefore measurable in terms of Frequency
(how fast it vibrates)
which is a factor taken into account with the defining
of Forward as Upward and Backward as Downward.
Naturally, Reality is gradually accelerating, Ascending.
Manifestation of Nodal Events is a Clearing.
Variable local differences in tempo might depend on proximity
to time/mass-affecting gravity wells of some type.
Reality is energy, and Energy Seeks Balance.
The Upshift is measured in terms of;
expanding comprehension, relaxation of stress, increased lucidity, and Love.
Behind us, behind Now, in denser realms called 'Past'; threads untangle.
Before us, ahead of Now, in lighter realms called 'Future';
threads draw magnetically toward Nodal Events.
We filter those threads that concern us, of which we have affinity, to which we are connected.
RAINBOW FEATHER
The Spine is conduit;
for Source energy drawn upward,
for Ascension energy drawn downward.
The frills to the left and right of a quill or feather spine are gradients,
with red at the bottom blending through rainbow spectrum to violet at the top.
If you choose seven points up the spine and label them Chakra,
you will see immediately the difference between the basic schools of chakra teaching
and the more advanced and holistic system described here.
Every gradient is Tonal, a specific spectrum or frequency.
It connects to the universes harmonic with that specific frequency; through Resonance.
Each tone can be comprehended as a spider-web, rather than left and right frills of a feather.
Thus we have a model of stacked spiderwebs.
The individual is unlikely to use all of the tones,
and unlikely to use all of the strands of which limited tones they do use; consciously at least.
To do so is to become something other than spirit-wearing-physical-body;
it is to become a Lightbody consciously using the light-bodies senses.
The world that we manifest and plug into, attract to ourselves,
is emitted through these spectrum.
They are how we connect the internal and external aspects of holistic Reality.
We may consider the strands to be tentacles.
This defines them into a practical symbolism.
HARMONIC WITH STARS
William Herschel's research into Radio Spectroscopy revealed that
every Star emits a unique individual barcode spectrum of light.
This has an immediate correlation with the unique barcode on one edge of
a quartz crystal shard, rubbing of which will activate that crystal.
The barcode describes the Waveform.
The filaments, feathers, or tones of your stacked spiderweb,
feathered gradient chakra system, that you are configured to and using;
are your Waveform. Your Energy Signature.
We previously described the flavour, the essence of this, as Anima.
Stars emit waveform.
As we are harmonized to Stars, we can control the waveform emitted.
This affects electromagnetically all particles of any relevant star system
(those to which we are harmonic)
HARMONIC RESONANCE
Vibrating at the identical same tempo and rhythm to a spectrum
plugs us direct into that spectrum.
It makes no difference where the other harmonized matches are
located in linear time nor in material space.
THE REALITY PRINCIPLE
Reality is beneficial and offers proof of our preconceptions.
These are precisely chosen words
describing the nature of Reality itself
and of the Reality Experience.
LIGHT & SHADOW:
AN ANALYSIS OF CONSCIOUS & SUBCONSCIOUS
Chaos Magicians teach that the subconscious mind (shadow) manifests experienced reality.
Use of the conscious mind (light) to consciously program the subconscious is a favoured explanation of how we can program Reality to conform to Will.
All ritual activity becomes seen as a focus method to achieve and sustain this goal.
Various symbolic sigils are used, as are chants and mantra's; embedded into the subconscious.
The very first step in exploring this further is to develop No-Mind.
Awareness that our subconscious are already full up of shit,
rogue programs that we are not consciously aware of.
Drawing them out one by one is painstaking and difficult,
possibly involving hypnosis and counseling sessions and hard work.
The short-cut is Zen No-Mind.
Empty the subconscious of all programs in a swift and single moment.
LINE IN THE SAND RITUAL
Draw the line from left to right or from right to left, it matters not.
Use a stick, your toe or your imagination.
On this side are the weighty problems and issues, concerns holding you back.
Whatever the stressful situation is, the lack of clarity, the feelings of doubt.
On the other side of the line is total freedom from all of that.
As soon as you step across the line, it filters out all of the shit.
You are cleansed.
MIND IS A FILTER
The Observer Affects the Observed.
The pattern of Observation is defined by the shape of the filter.
It is the filter that projects subconcsious perception into conscious awareness.
It is the filter that conscious awareness interacts with subconscious, through.
Programming the shape of the filter; expanding the filter
that we may integrate more data from the chaos of Reality
and without going crazy.
MEDITATION
Closing down the Mind
This becomes an essential tool to maintain a healthy psychology.
Deep, slow, rhythmic breaths while laying down comfortably;
is always the favoured method of meditation.
CTHULHU

Ordo Octopia is described as Cthulhonic in the same way that Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn became, following Aliester Crowley, Thelemic Order of the Golden Dawn. Howard Philip Lovecraft's writing developed into a mythos based upon his fathers books of Egyptian Freemasonry. Decipherment of the encoded symbolism within the Cthulhu mythos reveals the otherwise lost secrets of his fathers library.
Where HP Lovecraft's protagonists were shocked into to facing the Fear that risks madness so as to evolve beyond ourselves, Ordo Octopia takes the approach that overcoming Fear is a necessary liberation. Techniques have been developed to achieve this. Primarily, that Fear exists as a force that we have to deal with at some point. In wider terms it can be recognized, although preferably not utilized, as one of the stress-peak stimulators alongside Pain and Pleasure, used to push Awareness through to more lucid states.

The Cthulhu Mythos hides training stories for those dedicated enough to pursue its symbolism for hidden frames of reference, alongside and combined with other researches (plural; research into different parallel fields of occult knowledge). These other researches are essential to making the most of the Cthulhu Mythos as a school. There is much that can be derived of it; Ordo Octopia seeks to glean and translate the hidden teachings of Cthulhu into practical methods.
Cthulhu lays dormant, dreaming. It is the multi-dimensional power of Cthulhu's dream that empowers devotees with magickal ability. Cthulhu is therefore understood to be a symbol for Aboriginal Dreamtime, which defines the World Serpent in much the same way; as a conduit for those who know how, to draw forth of its power.
NYARLATHOTEP
Nyarlathotep serves as example of one of the entities explored in the Cthulhu mythos, what its symbolism means in practical terms, and how it can be utilized for magickal purposes.
Nyarlathotep is 'one of many forms' - a shapeshifter. He is known to have incarnated upon Earth as a mono-tentacle headed humanoid, and as a High Priest. His colours are Black, Red and White. It is a vampirical energy.
What psychonauts of Ordo Octopia discovered is that Nyarlathotep is a Tattva. It works well with the Thanateros energies and symbola.
A living example of this syncronicity happened tonight 30.3.2012, at exactly this place with my writing of this manuscript, see E is for Enoch. I was planning to edit the preceding paragraphs but with this development I will leave it exactly as it is.
The tentacle-head depicts not a monstrosity, but the electromagnetic flux of a Mind as can be perceived by energy-tendrils, coming into a focus point (as one tentacle rather than many strands), the tip of which can be called Attention. I have seen people use this as telekinesis and believe that is how polterghast are able to affect physical from spirit. It is a method of projecting mind to a point. How ears pinpoint the white-noise burst from an ambulance siren, the mind can develop to focus on a particular spot for 2-way energy exchange (Observation is the process of the observer affecting the observed). When a neighborhood dog barks directly at you and pinpoints your location with precise accuracy, despite it being shut behind a fence somewhere in the area; this is the skill it is using. It is not only mind but mid chakras that are connected to this tentacle, to translate the information. That is why the symbol is used; that is why Nyarlathotep is also symbolised as a High Priest, because of being aware of and able to use this ability. Focal point of Observational Attention. Attention is 'where the mind is at'.
The CARDINALS OF CHAOS
This is advanced, for the adept. The Cardinals of Chaos utilises the 8 pointed star of chaos. Chaos being what it is is impossible to define as a compass. What we can achieve is to impose our Will upon chaos and hold it to form. Intent structures the Magickal Universe. The Cardinals of Chaos is the rite of imprinting the flux with our Intent. The Cardinals are North, North-East, East, South-East, South, South-West, West, North-West, cycle an axis of Center, Above and Below. It is an X Y Z grid. The 8 directions of each of the 3 planes gives a total of 24 directions (including stasis at center). These are the PRIMARY or CARDINAL directions.
The 4 Major Cardinals, North East South West, are the Watch-towers of wiccan ritual, and associate with the elements fire air water earth. This system is perfectly compatible with the Mayan; Americanadian indiginous peoples Medicine Wheels that teach the same thing on one layer of the multi-contextual meanings.
Phonemic Spell
The word Rite meals 'to write' the fabric of reality. Rit-u-al means literally 'to write the spirit of the everything' there is a pun between Write, Rite and Right. Rit comes from Ri ('of Ra,' however this is a direct therefore assertive) T, an assertive into the physical. The sound of hard 'T' as with hard 'S' is a sonic vibrational shockwave to push mental-emotional Intent into the immediate physical domain.
HyperSpace
The purpose for establishing the magickal circle is to seal ourselves off from unwanted influence, be it chaotic or part structured of a pattern. We are constructing a Faraday cage. We are a constructing a Tesseract. The space within it is pure of unwanted energy. This is the theory. What types of energy that can enter into the circle are those exempt from the laws governing the external domains. Their presence is highlighted, and it is considered as a warning that they will be drawn to this clear space, like a moth to a flame.
Planes & Grains
There are varying beliefs, for example; 'above and below cannot enter this realm (such is my will)' that restrict the interplay between the planes. Planes are stable harmonic vibrational levels existing in relation to the central plane. It is Belief that holds the system in form. These are multi-dimensional systems. Really all that we are doing is programming our light-body to manifest into experiences that we can know how to deal with, rather than be confused and overwhelmed by the chaos of it all. Once Perception is balanced and fast enough, it witnesses environment as step by step, block after block, one step at a time, clockwork, rather than as sleek fluid motion. For example; the grain of water' refers to perceiving its molecular structure as a math system in motion rather than experiencing it as a physical liquid.
On Numerology, Symbology & Overlay
It actually require less than 8 to hold the grid in place, and it is a more simple ritual that will be more practical to use on a regular basis, the Rite of Trine. The most simple and elegant form of all is is to cast a Circle. Due to systemized ritual symbols; circle, 3 and 8 all become respected with different conceptual assignations. In the formation of a Hermetic system of study, it becomes necessary to establish a precisely defined meaning for each symbol and work exclusively with that; setting the rules so no demons can slip out of contract, so to speak. By its oneric nature, Cthulhonic rites utilize elements of hermetic principle while retaining the double-think or overlaying contexts of symbols, that multiversal aspects are attuned and unified. The scattering and focus-unification of Attention-Energy through multiple levels of reality requires a formal Intention Gate to hold the detail in place. This is what the Cardinals of Chaos Rite is about. It is imperative that diffusion methods are also used by the conjurer that the mind does not solidify into dogma. The cycles of the 8-pointed star are by definition a constant state of flux.
We imprint each cardinal with a symbol, by facing each direction and asking that its symbol be revealed to us. It helps a lot to keep a notepad and pen at hand to draw or list these things. Use of visual imagination is superior to any other method. Face the relevant direction, empty the mind, call forth its image. Expect to see different images each time you perform the Rite, or even if you return to face the same direction again during the Rite. This is the nature of dealing with the flux of Chaos and that is why we impose a specific symbol system that we can relate to and work with, upon the energy field. We are seeking to break free of external influence here, not to be controlled by it at a subliminal level. The I Ching is perhaps the best divinatory source if using a medium to define stable cardinal references, because the I Ching is already perfectly harmonic between circle, 3 and 8. Contemplating this illustrates the Clarity required to maintain a focus on one particular system without being drawn into the dogma of another. The Rites have developed to enhance our clarity when dealing with Magick. If you cannot maintain a clarity and precision, then you should stop and perform some focus-meditation instead. This stuff can be too dangerous to mess about with if you are unprepared. Personally I use the tarot cards in a Wheel-Of-9 Ley, because it involves the chaos and fate elements in structuring the concepts; However this does bind the magi into a limited concept range for defining the gates. The ritual can be performed any number of times, redefining each gate as necessary every time. To do so will open a different universe. It is expected that experimentally exploring through this system will initially lead the magician all over the place before he decides upon staying with a configuration that works successfully. Repeat experimentation and use of a log book is recommended, in fact it is necessary for the serious student to repeat the rite as often as it takes that orientation occurs automatically. Meditative contemplation of each symbol is what gives us a comprehension of its nature.
Points of Balance
Although we use Cardinal Compass directions, this is to give us orientation within the chaos. The domain within the circle is a separate reality from the external reality, occupying a different time-space. The terms North, East &etc do not equate to the same terms existing on planet earth. We rename them, giving each symbol a name by which to interact with it. There are two parallel streams of energy flowing around the circle; clockwise and anticlockwise. They weave. Where they connect is where there is a Node or a symbol, at each Cardinal point. For simplicity we call them Yin/Yang or Up/Down or Left/Right. or Give/Take. One flows sunwise or clockwise, the other widdershins or anti-clockwise. The associated symbol defines the nature of the energy exchange occurring at each Cardinal.
Systematic Development; Flying Kites
We utilize a system called KITES because the shape made by the connections on an 8 pointed chaos star grid, are reminiscent of the structure of a kite used for flying. These Flying Kites are what we are to define here. It gets complicated very quickly.
Kites are overlaid upon each other. Each Kite defines the relationships between specific Cardinals. Each Kite has a hidden Node consisting of all the other Cardinals not specific to that Kite. This is located at the center as axis of the construction grid. Each Cardinal has a point of balance between the 4 cardinals structuring the Kite. The symbols for each Cardinal must be known prior to the creation of a Kite.
Method
1. Make a circle of 8 points. Do this on paper, with rocks or with candles in a tranquil space.
2. Choose 1 of the 8 symbols / Face the direction you wish to open the gate of. This is called the Focal.
3. Determine the polarity of the Focal; the two opposites crossing through the diameter and central axis of the circle. This is called the Counter.
4. To either side of the Focal are 2 other symbols. These are called the Pillars.
These represent the Entering & Exiting, Previous & Next, Up & Down, energies flowing around your chosen Gate. At this point we refer to the importance of recognizing Anima. Each symbol describes the Anima of that Cardinal.
5. The 2 symbols to either side of the Focal are set in a circle; you use them as polarities to each other, make a straight line between them; where this line crosses with the Focal/Counter, between the Axis and the Focal. You now have an X and Y axis, a cross, the structure of the Kite. This is called the Lock. The Focal is the Key and Result of the Lock. Visualize the Lock as an on/off toggle. When On, the structure is in form and active. When Off, the structure is non-existent and inactive. This is a control-check.
6. Connect the Counter with each of the Pillars. You now have the exterior sides of the Kite.
7. The Kite is controlled by the dynamic of its own internal system(s), as defined by the relationships between 7 points upon it. The 4 Cardinals, the Lock, the Axis and the Magi's Will, holding the Kite string.
8. Winds. Kites are held aloft by winds. There are different Winds; the Counter, the Will of the Magi, and the 4 extra Cardinals not involved directly with the construct of the kite. This keeps the understanding flowing neatly contained within a holistic, in fitting with Hermetic alchemic principle. The extra Cardinals regarded as individual winds however are typically combined and placed as a singularity at a point 'opposite' or 'balancing' the Lock, half-way between the Axis and the Counter, it is where the extra Cardinals form a cross along the diameter line that we have been using. This is called the Pressure. The other types of Wind is 'that which is beyond/outside of the circle' and 'that which comes through the (individual) Cardinal gates'. It is important to have tightly bound gates, which means to know them fully. An absolute rule is that it is the Focal that determines the governing Gate; it is the Focal that we are invoking, opening.
The Axis is held in check by the Polarities of the Focal and Counter crossing with the extra Cardinal polarities at a right angle to the diameter polarizing the Focal and its Counter. Technically the Axis is actually held in check by all 8 Cardinals, however by using their grid in this way, as Kites, we contemplate one step at a time, what is happening here, what is the dynamic. Thankfully, in practice the CoC Rite the dynamics are different, simpler, than having 8 Kite rites occurring simultaneously in the same space and interfering with each other.

My own criticism of the Cardinal of Chaos Rites is that it is so elaborate, time consuming; and the same results can be achieved much more simply. The comprehension of the Cardinal Chaos is required for a magician to develop their own, simpler approaches. That is a strong purpose of this instruction; the confidence to explore the dimensions independently is developed through familiarity. However; it forms a core principle teaching of Ordo Octopia and is necessary. It is the contemplation of the precepts involved that are the training. It is the application of them, not necessarily to perform them as Rites, that develops the acolytes perception. Attaining the results of such development are a purpose of the Order.
The 4 Major Cardinals, North East South West, are the Watch-towers of wiccan ritual, and associate with the elements fire air water earth. This system is perfectly compatible with the Mayan; Americanadian indiginous peoples Medicine Wheels that teach the same thing on one layer of the multi-contextual meanings.
Phonemic Spell
The word Rite meals 'to write' the fabric of reality. Rit-u-al means literally 'to write the spirit of the everything' there is a pun between Write, Rite and Right. Rit comes from Ri ('of Ra,' however this is a direct therefore assertive) T, an assertive into the physical. The sound of hard 'T' as with hard 'S' is a sonic vibrational shockwave to push mental-emotional Intent into the immediate physical domain.
HyperSpace
The purpose for establishing the magickal circle is to seal ourselves off from unwanted influence, be it chaotic or part structured of a pattern. We are constructing a Faraday cage. We are a constructing a Tesseract. The space within it is pure of unwanted energy. This is the theory. What types of energy that can enter into the circle are those exempt from the laws governing the external domains. Their presence is highlighted, and it is considered as a warning that they will be drawn to this clear space, like a moth to a flame.
Planes & Grains
There are varying beliefs, for example; 'above and below cannot enter this realm (such is my will)' that restrict the interplay between the planes. Planes are stable harmonic vibrational levels existing in relation to the central plane. It is Belief that holds the system in form. These are multi-dimensional systems. Really all that we are doing is programming our light-body to manifest into experiences that we can know how to deal with, rather than be confused and overwhelmed by the chaos of it all. Once Perception is balanced and fast enough, it witnesses environment as step by step, block after block, one step at a time, clockwork, rather than as sleek fluid motion. For example; the grain of water' refers to perceiving its molecular structure as a math system in motion rather than experiencing it as a physical liquid.
On Numerology, Symbology & Overlay
It actually require less than 8 to hold the grid in place, and it is a more simple ritual that will be more practical to use on a regular basis, the Rite of Trine. The most simple and elegant form of all is is to cast a Circle. Due to systemized ritual symbols; circle, 3 and 8 all become respected with different conceptual assignations. In the formation of a Hermetic system of study, it becomes necessary to establish a precisely defined meaning for each symbol and work exclusively with that; setting the rules so no demons can slip out of contract, so to speak. By its oneric nature, Cthulhonic rites utilize elements of hermetic principle while retaining the double-think or overlaying contexts of symbols, that multiversal aspects are attuned and unified. The scattering and focus-unification of Attention-Energy through multiple levels of reality requires a formal Intention Gate to hold the detail in place. This is what the Cardinals of Chaos Rite is about. It is imperative that diffusion methods are also used by the conjurer that the mind does not solidify into dogma. The cycles of the 8-pointed star are by definition a constant state of flux.
We imprint each cardinal with a symbol, by facing each direction and asking that its symbol be revealed to us. It helps a lot to keep a notepad and pen at hand to draw or list these things. Use of visual imagination is superior to any other method. Face the relevant direction, empty the mind, call forth its image. Expect to see different images each time you perform the Rite, or even if you return to face the same direction again during the Rite. This is the nature of dealing with the flux of Chaos and that is why we impose a specific symbol system that we can relate to and work with, upon the energy field. We are seeking to break free of external influence here, not to be controlled by it at a subliminal level. The I Ching is perhaps the best divinatory source if using a medium to define stable cardinal references, because the I Ching is already perfectly harmonic between circle, 3 and 8. Contemplating this illustrates the Clarity required to maintain a focus on one particular system without being drawn into the dogma of another. The Rites have developed to enhance our clarity when dealing with Magick. If you cannot maintain a clarity and precision, then you should stop and perform some focus-meditation instead. This stuff can be too dangerous to mess about with if you are unprepared. Personally I use the tarot cards in a Wheel-Of-9 Ley, because it involves the chaos and fate elements in structuring the concepts; However this does bind the magi into a limited concept range for defining the gates. The ritual can be performed any number of times, redefining each gate as necessary every time. To do so will open a different universe. It is expected that experimentally exploring through this system will initially lead the magician all over the place before he decides upon staying with a configuration that works successfully. Repeat experimentation and use of a log book is recommended, in fact it is necessary for the serious student to repeat the rite as often as it takes that orientation occurs automatically. Meditative contemplation of each symbol is what gives us a comprehension of its nature.
Points of Balance
Although we use Cardinal Compass directions, this is to give us orientation within the chaos. The domain within the circle is a separate reality from the external reality, occupying a different time-space. The terms North, East &etc do not equate to the same terms existing on planet earth. We rename them, giving each symbol a name by which to interact with it. There are two parallel streams of energy flowing around the circle; clockwise and anticlockwise. They weave. Where they connect is where there is a Node or a symbol, at each Cardinal point. For simplicity we call them Yin/Yang or Up/Down or Left/Right. or Give/Take. One flows sunwise or clockwise, the other widdershins or anti-clockwise. The associated symbol defines the nature of the energy exchange occurring at each Cardinal.
Systematic Development; Flying Kites
We utilize a system called KITES because the shape made by the connections on an 8 pointed chaos star grid, are reminiscent of the structure of a kite used for flying. These Flying Kites are what we are to define here. It gets complicated very quickly.
Kites are overlaid upon each other. Each Kite defines the relationships between specific Cardinals. Each Kite has a hidden Node consisting of all the other Cardinals not specific to that Kite. This is located at the center as axis of the construction grid. Each Cardinal has a point of balance between the 4 cardinals structuring the Kite. CONCENTRICITY
Overlays of 8 Kites, one each for each of the Cardinals, reveals concentric circles within the circle. These are marked by rings of the Lock and the Pressure. These divide the circle into zones. Concentricity is the energy of concentric circles, relates to the Ripple at harmonic distances from the Axis, measuring the Waveform between Axis source and outer edge. Concentricity is also the energy of Concentration. This is an important concept to comprehend. It is an electrical energy, a magnetism, that gives definition to the Observed.

Self balanced at center, surrounded by Are, which is Assertation; the Will programs the manifestation. Turning to one angle we see Self, turning to another angel we see What, which is the establishment, it is Assertation of question, as opposed to Resquest of question for which we use the word Why. We might use the word Why here as an alternative. This provides Why in one slant, and mirror of Self in another slant. Are has gridden the center therefore quest or recognition are woven into the circle. The 3 x 3 grid is a common feature for establishing the 3 levels, above and below and center; and the left & right, or past & future. To turn and face questions in front and behind, above and below; to turn and face self in front and behind, above and below. To turn any other direction and see Are, that-which-is-asserted. We can interpret this to mean the world environment, or to mean our conditioning. We can radiate and Assert Self.

WHEEL OF 9 TAROT LEY
Numerology is invoked here, with each number described as a particular theme. The cards are set in a circle of 8 and the final card in the center, the axis. This represents both the Balance of the wheel and also Freedom from it. This is a resolvable paradox. Some explain it to be the Querent.
The Wheel of 9 cards relate in triangles. (1 opposite 5) we have (1, 3, 7) and (1, 4, 6) to be of noteworthy arrangements. This is not a Ley for beginners because it does not use the Tarot the same way as most publications teach it. One function of Ordo Octopia is deconditioning for expansive awareness. Unbinding A World
As with so many things brought to focus by the Ordo Octopia; what we think we are learning, what we set out to learn, might not be what we were actually intended to be learning. This is because reality is multiversal, perception has many levels, and the systems taught on one level mean something different when applied elsewhere. Often this is the easiest method by which to impart the useful information. The set-up is the methods given as words on the manuscripts. The application comes later with much personal development and insight into what it is we are actually preparing the student for. Why you go on a journey might in retrospect be regarded as a totally different reason than those for which you set out in the first place. We have to dwell in darkness to know what light means.
Now that you have seen how a Pattern may be superimposed upon external reality, also how transient these patterns are that exist only because we impose them and hold them in place with our Will, conscious or subconsciously. Now that you have seen how Rites work, by focus the mind through a methodical system to attune awareness to a specific tattvic frequency in which we can achieve desired results. Both these awareness developing from your study of the Cardinals of Chaos Rite; you can easily recognize how the construct of cause linked to effect, of perceiving the label of a thing so as to bind it as a tool, rather than a nameless perpetually shape-shifting flux; you have a deeper comprehension of how the cohesion wrought by human societies is temporary and unreliable in the deeper scheme of things. It is entirely a delusion, an illusion agreed upon as to be real, by the majority who are indoctrinated into accepted this fallacy as reality. It is not reality! It is a constructed artifice which prevents us from exploring the real reality.

The first thing we must be aware of is that if we are not manifesting the domain, then we are dealing with somebody else’s manifested domain. The time-mass physical dimension we encounter is gridded to specific set of physics, controlled by critical mass consciousness. By freeing the mind of the collective grid, we no longer are bound to its rules of cause and effect. Thus we may use Imagination to re-shape it in our own desire.
The magi requires Freedom to function. Pursuit of this Freedom, as an absolute, freedom from all external controlling factors, becomes continual and therefore involves as lifestyle.

This Rite severs all strands of attachment between the magi and any other who has latched onto him, unfortunately it is only a temporary measure for as soon as they remember about us they send their fishing-line hooks back again. It is a visual meditation of 512 (8x8x8) blades spinning like a storm all around you, without harming you, they precisely sever every attachment to and from the magi.
