WORLD of DARKNESS
White Wolf's Game Franchise
I am of the generation of the original pentacle envisaged by Mark Rein-Hagen:
Vampire: the Masquerade, Werewolf: the Apocalypse, Wraith: the oblivion, Mage: the Ascension,
Changeling: the Dreaming (the one I never had a copy of)
My Vampire: the Masquerade Character
This one was developed for a Facebook Group which has done away with all the usual dice rules and character sheet for simplicity of online gaming. The next gen roleplayers who were born into the internet generation prefer storytelling to dice, and doing it online this is the obvious solution. It makes life a lot easier.
Name: Nihil (street tag)
Age when Embraced: 28
Age: 38
Clan: Toreador
Appearance:
Unusually attractive for a man if not somewhat effeminate. Smooth pale skin, floppy black hair with several long dreadlocks from the back, somewhat misty eyes which often appear to refract light strangely giving the impression of white pupils within black iris.
Wears; fingerless net gloves, a black satchel containing spray-cans and paperback books, thick baggy designer black hoody top, doc martens boots, black denim jeans with rips revealing black leggings beneath.
Personality:
Has an inner-equilibrium through mastery of artistic accomplishment. Therefore does not care very much about what other people think about him, which has helped him to survive the Toreador clan culture which is an emphasised version of the Human art scene; back-stabbingly bitchy but in awe of talent and beauty.
Upon a shocking revelation that his embrace was itself merely intended as a temporary state of affairs by his sire who was attempting to use him as some sort of political pawn "a disposable art project” (for kindred, 'temporary' may last decades), he promptly attempted to ‘bite her back’ and thus during an erotic melee the two of them have become blood-bound; both as immortal lovers and mortal enemies. She has left the city, “temporarily."
Bio:
Street graffiti artist, using only black, white, silver and red to portray beautiful, sensual, frightening imagery and decorations inspired by vodou cultural symbols and photo-realistic portrait and catholic architecture; blending these together in dark-wave rather than hip-hop subcultural style.
Lives in a sparse basement apartment full of candle stubs, empty wine bottles, painted cardboard and canvases which blend interchangeably into the painted walls, floor and ceiling; now accessible through a disused-toilet boarded-window that opens at ground level into a quiet alley below metal fire-steps to apartments above where hookers, drug-pushers, gangsters and electro-musicians share a front door and a mafia landlord.
Basically he is streetwise, street-life; regarding pick-pocketing to be a necessary part of survival with equally importance as gracing the echelons at art exhibitions and gallery openings, rubbing shoulders with all those who appreciate refined culture, whatever their origin and personal tastes. Currently a young human photographer seeking to make a name for herself is attempting to persuade him to let her write a book featuring his artwork, which is notorious because his distinct style can be seen throughout the city.
